Why I consider myself to be a holistically minded individual.

As a certified reflexologist; I practice my field as a holistically centered skill. I began doing this in March of "2005". And the reason it is considered holistic is that it works all the reflex points on the feet that correspond to different parts of the body as a whole.

When I first started doing reflexology, my school of thought  and a deep passion for holistic health consumed my inner being and would soon grow to be used a tool to help educate & gear others toward the idea that there are alternative and natural ways to caring for your health that are low cost that won't hurt your budget and yet the best part is, there are no side effects to suffer from. I feel in my whole heart that people do not have to stay in a mode of ill heath and sickness most of their lives, & feel miserable. There are much better and natural ways to get better and stay as healthy as possible if we choose to go that route, and the nutritional, dietary,& lifestyle choices we make today, will determine our health habits for tomorrow.

My wish someday would be to educate as many people as possible & help them understand that holistic health is the way to go and be, and to let them know that practitioners in this great field treat people as a whole, and not as an entity unlike the way western medicine practices. Holistic health teaches the idea that sickness & disease can be conquered and alleviated, sometimes even make them disappear for a time thru means of proper nutrition, good vitamin protocol & excellent herbal supplement regimen. They also believe that many diseases(dis-eases) can be stemmed back to certain nutritional, mineral,& vitamin deficiencies and by supplying the body  with missing deficiencies, we can gain a great degree of better health for all us.

So, the answer to my question: Why I consider myself to be a holistically minded individual is this:I don't see the forest for the trees sort of speak, I tend to see the  forest as a whole. Whenever I see or hear of people being in ill health or having a disease, I feel in in my whole heart that they probably have some underlying  issue such as a deficiency or toxin overload going on, and need to address
the problem as a whole instead of just treating  their symptoms with prescription medicines  or OTC's which only make their health problems worse not better; and cause unwanted side effects.

My main idea is centered around this: If there is a natural  and alternative way of caring for your health, I am 100% in compliance for it, cause I fully believe when it comes to your health, there is no better way than the holistic and natural way.
